Drew Barrymore has confessed that she is still "in shock" following her divorce from Will Kopelman. The actress and the art consultant, who have two daughters together, called time on their marriage in April 2016, and their divorce was finalised in August.
Five months on, Drew, 41, has admitted that she isn't ready to date again. During an interview with Andy Cohen on SiriusXM Town Hall, the American beauty was quizzed about any potential love interests.
"No, nobody," said Drew. "I'm not ready. I'm still in shock over everything. I'm going to take a while."
"I'm still in shock over everything," said Drew
The mum-of-two added that she was staying away from dating apps. "My girlfriends are on it so it is fun for me to look over their shoulder," she said. "My concern is, 'Am I going to be that person who classically meets a psycho and gets murdered that night?' So I think that alone was a turn off!"
Drew added that she was old-fashioned and not tech-savvy when it comes to dating. "I remember when you were just waiting for that phone to ring, and then you were worried because you'd miss their call and then the answering machine manifested and it was tapes, and you were so, kept checking that tape. Like, there's a part of me that still dates from that kind of perspective," she said. "I can't stand when people want to talk on the phone all the time, or text, or email."
Will and Drew have two daughters together
Drew and her ex-husband Will were married for three years; their divorce was finalised last summer. The pair weren't present at the hearing and the filing was uncontested, meaning that there were no custody or money disputes.
They have remained on amicable terms for their two young daughters – Olive, four, and Frankie, two – and Drew and Will regularly show their support for each other.

The Never Been Kissed actress took her daughters to cheer on their dad at the New York Marathon last year. Earlier this month Drew and Will again reunited to take part in the Women's March, where they brought their eldest daughter.
