Kylie Minogue has split from her British actor fiancé Joshua Sasse. The 48-year-old singer is said to have called off the wedding over concerns about Joshua’s friendship with Spanish actress Marta Milans, and has asked him to leave the West London home they share. Kylie and Joshua, 29, first met in 2015 on the set of the US series Galavant, and announced their engagement in February 2016.
The Sun was first to report news of the split. A source told the newspaper: "She is absolutely devastated, totally heartbroken. She really believed he was The One. But she no longer trusts him." Joshua reportedly bonded with Marta last year during filming in Vancouver, Canada for the now-axed TV show No Tomorrow. Kylie is said to have been upset by their closeness, and upon her return from Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week, asked Joshua to move out.

Shortly before the news broke, Kylie posted a message on Twitter with happier news, telling fans she had signed a new record label with BMG. She wrote: "#lovers… So happy to announce my new record label is BMG. I promise you will have my heart..."

The news comes just days after Kylie opened up about her wedding plans in a pre-recorded interview with This Morning. Joking that her big day would differ greatly from that of her Neighbours character, she said: "I'm taking no inspiration from Charlene's wedding dress! It was of the time. We laugh about it now. But I have to say, the gyp flowers she wore in her hair. I don't mind those if they are done properly."
And in a recent interview with You magazine, Kylie revealed her plans to take Joshua's surname once they had tied the knot. "Sasse is a great name. Kylie Sasse is a great name," she said. "It's a great stage name. Kylie Minogue has never exactly tripped off the tongue. I’ll definitely be taking Sasse but there will be a Minogue in there somewhere. Taking a different name makes a statement."

The Can't Get You Out Of My Head star also admitted that the couple were in "no rush" to tie the knot. Kylie and Joshua previously confirmed that they would not marry until same-sex marriage is legal in her native Australia. "There are chances of a Melbourne wedding, but me and Kylie have talked about it and we are not comfortable getting married until this law is past," Joshua told Australia's Sunrise last year.

"That is something that we have talked about and decided on. Why should we? Why is it fair? Why are we more important than anyone else? It's not right and something's got to be done about it."
