Idris Elba might be a Golden Globe award-winning actor, but he isn't afraid to ask kids for their advice! The Luther star chatted to a group of children so they could give him tips for Valentine's Day, when he will be taking a stranger who makes a donation to the Omaze charity campaign on a date.

Speaking to the little girl in the sweet clip, Idris was amazed when she revealed she had a boyfriend, saying: "Okay! How many boyfriends do you have?" to which she replied: "25!" as the other children giggled. Idris then explained why he was chatting to the children. "Hi there," he said to the camera. "I'm Idris Elba and I'm teaming up with Omaze to invite you to be my valentine. Together we can pop champagne, enjoy cocktails, chocolate… To ensure our night is perfect I've brought together a team of people who can help me."

Idris Elba Gets Valentine's Day Advice from Kids // Omaze

Asking one of the cheeky children whether they had been on a date before, one said: "I know a lot of good advice for one because I'm planning on one!" Speaking about what they think happens on dates, one girl said: "You take the girl somewhere nice where she likes like a girl concert and you pay for everything and you agree with everything she says." When Idris attempted to object, a boy agreed with his peer, saying: "It doesn't matter about you! It matters about the girl."

The star then asked how he should impress his date, and whether he should act like a bad boy or be good. One little girl was determined he should act like a bad guy, saying: "If you're good then you might have to wear glasses, suspenders and ugly trousers and your watch will be a babyish one and your date will probably slap you because she wants someone bad." However, a little boy said he should be good, telling Idris: "You want her to like you in order to propose to her someday."
