Happy birthday Amal Clooney! The lawyer and her husband George Clooney celebrated her 39th birthday in Barcelona on Friday amid reports the couple are soon to expect the pitter patter of tiny feet. As HELLO! reported previously, the Lebanon Daily Star was the first to speculate that the couple could be expecting twins, quoting a family source who reportedly confirmed the happy news.

On Friday, all eyes were on Amal who looked radiant as she walked through Barcelona airport with her former ER star husband and his parents Nick and Nina, wearing a loose-fitting, camel-coloured jumper dress. Earlier in the week, the husband and wife duo celebrated her birthday by having dinner at the lavish Rooftop Smokehouse Restaurant. During their time on their trip, the human rights lawyer paused the celebrations to speak at the ADP ReThink Human Capital Management conference in a discussion which was moderated by her husband's dad, Nick.

The happy couple recently celebrated their two-year anniversary after marrying in a stunning wedding ceremony in Italy, and George previously opened up about how he proposed to the star. Chatting on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, he said: "I've got it all set up, timed out and the song is coming and she gets up to go wash the dishes, which she's never done. And I'm like what are you doing and she comes back in… I got down on my knee and said, 'I couldn't imagine spending the rest of my life without you.' And she kept looking at the ring and she was looking at me and she was like 'Oh my God'. Finally I literally said, 'Look, I hope the answer's yes, but I need an answer. I'm 52 and I could throw out my hip pretty soon'. And she said, 'Oh, yes' and it worked out really well."
