Age is just a number! Kirk Douglas has proved he's still got it at 100 years old. The Spartacus star has showed off his best dance moves in a hilarious video posted on Instagram by his grandson Dylan, the 16-year-old son of Michael Douglas. Kirk, who celebrated his centenary birthday in December, was full of energy as he sang, pulled funny faces and threw some shapes for the camera. Dressed in a navy tracksuit, the veteran actor seemed to be having a ball while Dylan, who presumably filmed the footage, was heard laughing in the background. "Happy 100th Pappy love you with all my heart (I swear he's not crazy)," the teenager captioned the clip.

Kirk marked his milestone birthday in true Hollywood fashion last year. The birthday boy was joined by his famous A list family and friends at the Beverly Hills Hotel, including his son Douglas, his daughter-in-law Catherine Zeta-Jones and the couple's two children, Dylan and 13-year-old Carys. Also in attendance were Steven Spielberg, Arthur Cohn and Jeffrey Katzenberg – the CEO of DreamWorks Animation. The party kicked off at 2.30pm, where over 100 guests sat around tables named after some of Kirk's favourite films. The Douglas family sat around Lonely Are the Brave, which the actor stared in back in 1962. Guests later tucked into an extravagant chocolate cake that was cut by Catherine, complete with an edible, gold bust of Kirk's face.

Titled "Happy Birthday Kirk, 100 years old today love you Pappy", pictures included a young Kirk in Spartacus along with a clip of Dylan and Carys play fighting, captioned "Spartacus grandchildren in training".
Michael admits he lacked confidence following in dad Kirk's footsteps
Michael led the speeches in celebration of his father, telling the guests: "I owe a lot of my career and success to him." Giving an insight into family life in the Douglas household, he continued: "He is always asking about what kind of father he was. Dad, you are an amazing, amazing father." The star also made a special mention of his step mum, Anne, 97, who has been married to Kirk since 1954. "She was never the wicked stepmother. My father wouldn't be sitting here if it wasn't for Anne," he said.
