It's been five days since Kylie Minogue confirmed the end of her engagement to Joshua Sasse. Now Joshua's Galavant co-star Vinnie Jones has shed some light on the couple's relationship, revealing that he knew about their romance "before anyone". Vinnie, who worked side-by-side with 29-year-old Joshua on the musical comedy TV show, has opened up about the couple's first meeting, and revealed the chat-up line leading man Joshua used on the pop princess.

"His opening line to her was, 'You do know all our guest stars have dinner with the star of the show of Galavant,'" Vinnie, 52, told The Sun's Dan Wooten. "He's hilarious. She was on set quite a bit." Vinnie also claimed that Joshua strategically moved into Kylie's hotel ahead of her arrival - despite Joshua previously claiming that he "didn't know who she was" before her appearance on the show. "I knew about them before anyone," Vinnie said. "Joshua was moving into her hotel the night before she came – on purpose."

Kylie confirmed her split from Joshua on 3 February – one year after the couple announced their engagement in the 'Forthcoming Marriages' section of The Telegraph. The 48-year-old singer shared a photograph of a sunrise on Instagram, telling fans: "Thank you for all your love and support throughout this recent chapter of my life. Thank you for your love and understanding with the news that Josh and I have decided to go our separate ways. We wish only the best for each other as we venture towards new horizons. #thesunalwaysrises."
Kylie confimed her split from Galavant actor Joshua last week
The shock split came just two weeks after Kylie opened up about her plans to take Joshua's surname after their wedding. "Sasse is a great name. Kylie Sasse is a great name," she said. "It's a great stage name. Kylie Minogue has never exactly tripped off the tongue. I’ll definitely be taking Sasse but there will be a Minogue in there somewhere. Taking a different name makes a statement."

She added: "When I look into Josh's eyes, he is all I see and that make me very happy. There's a line in the movie Notting Hill that I always think of, when Julia Roberts is talking to Hugh Grant, and she says, 'I'm just a girl standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her.' For me, it's that simple."
