Brooklyn Beckham shares never-before-seen throwback photo of him and David together

February 8, 2017

Brooklyn Beckham has shared a sweet picture from his parents Victoria and David's wedding day in 1999. Taking to his Instagram page on Wednesday, the 17-year-old uploaded the never-before-seen photograph, which sees him posing with his father when he was four-months-old. The aspiring photographer simply captioned the snap with two love-heart emojis.

The sentimental post comes days after his football star father reportedly became a victim of email hacking where he allegedly revealed his annoyance over not getting a knighthood. David, who has played for Manchester United and Real Madrid during his sports career, received his OBE in 2003 and is reported to have sent an email criticising the decision to give singer Katherine Jenkins one a decade later.

Shortly after the reports emerged, the father-of-four addressed the situation, claiming the emails were "doctored." His spokesperson released a statement to HELLO!, saying: "This story is based on outdated material taken out of context from hacked and doctored private emails from a third party server and gives a deliberately inaccurate picture. David Beckham and UNICEF have had a powerful partnership in support of children for over 15 years."

Earlier on in the week, Brooklyn shared a beautiful picture of his dad giving his little sister Harper a cuddle during a family meal. In the black-and-white photo, the retired footballer is giving his only daughter a kiss on the forehead as she sleeps while sat on his lap, sucking her thumb. Meanwhile, David regularly shares photos of himself with his four children, Brooklyn, 17, Romeo, 14, Cruz, 11 and five-year-old Harper, and recently opened up about his wife, Victoria, and his family during the 75th anniversary edition of Radio 4's Desert Island Discs.

"Of course you make mistakes over the years," he said. "We all know marriage is difficult at times and it's about working through it. Whenever we've come up against tough times, we know each other better than anybody knows us so we talk. Do we stay together because it's a brand? Of course not. We stay together because we love each other. We stay together because we have four amazing children. Of course we go through tough times. When we go through tough times we work through it as a unit, as a family."
