Holly Willoughby's birthday got off to the best possible start on Friday. The TV star enjoyed early morning cuddles in bed from her three children and her husband Dan Baldwin in celebration of her special day, and proudly shared a photo on Instagram with her fans. "Everything I could possibly ever want on my birthday!!!" Holly, now 36, wrote next to the sweet family image. Holly and Dan have been happily married since August 2007, and welcomed their youngest child, Chester, in September 2014. The couple are also parents to son Harry, seven, and daughter Belle, who will be six in April.

Holly was treated to an early birthday surprise on Thursday, thanks to Phillip Schofield and the rest of the This Morning team - a 'unicorn' and some chocolate tequila shots. Moments before the show came to a close, Gino D'Acampo appeared with Tony the Pony, dressed up in a sweet unicorn costume – to the delight of the birthday girl. "Oh my god, it is a unicorn for me?" Holly gasped. "Do I get to keep him?!" Gino then presented her with a huge chocolate cake, complete with the tequila shots – her favourite tipple. "This is the stuff of dreams!" she said with a laugh.

Holly paid tribute to friend Tara Palmer-Tomkinson during Thursday's episode of This Morning
It's been a roller-coaster week for Holly. Earlier on Thursday's show, she opened up about the death of her friend Tara Palmer-Tomkinson, who sadly passed away on Wednesday aged 45. "She had an incredible energy. I was lucky enough to know her and she was very good friends with a close friend of mine and she just had that special energy about her," Holly said. "She was just so funny, she was a funny girl and incredibly kind. I always remember that she was very generous with her time but with her spirit also."

She continued: "The first time I met her, and I think this sums up that 'child like' character and fun that she had… I was having dinner and she came over to my table and said 'you know a very good friend of mine' and we started chatting and chatting and chatting and as she's talking to me. She was gesticulating with her hands and I noticed this diamond bling, gorgeous ring - and I'm like watching her hand like a magpie and said 'your ring is beautiful', and she said 'oh this, this is just a bit of toot from Chanel'. And she dropped it in my champagne class and went 'it's yours!'. I said 'no, I can't take that!' and she replied, 'if you don't take it, I'll throw it across the restaurant'. So the next morning I wake up and I had this incredible ring on my hand, which I did say to her the next morning 'I've got your ring' and she said 'I don't want it back.'"
