Adele has confirmed her marriage to long-term partner Simon Konecki after months of speculation. Taking to the Grammy Awards stage on Sunday, the 28-year-old wasted no time in thanking her "husband" as she delivered an emotional acceptance speech after picking up the prize for Best Album of the Year. The singer said: "Grammys, I appreciate it, the Academy, I love you, my manager, my husband and my son – you're the only reason I do it."
In December, Adele was spotted wearing a band on her wedding finger, however, reps for the singer had "no comment" when asked if the star had tied the knot. The couple, who have been together for five years, are parents to their four-year-old son Angelo. Last year, in an interview with Vogue, Adele opened up about life as a parent and her love for Simon. "[Angelo] makes me very proud of myself. When I became a parent, I felt like I was truly living. I had a purpose, where before I didn’t," she confessed. "I can't have any other junk in my head to worry about as well [as him]."

Praising her partner, the British singer also revealed that it was love at first sight. "When I met Simon I knew something was going to happen," she said, adding that he had helped her through her recovery following surgery on her vocal cords in 2011, which included six weeks of complete silence and intensive vocal rehabilitation.

The couple, who were introduced to each other by Ed Sheeran, recently moved into a plush £6million mansion in Beverly Hills. Meanwhile, over the past 12 months, Adele has been wowing audiences around the world during her 2016 tour. Speaking of the end of the tour, the star took to social media to thank everyone for all of their hard work. She wrote: "I just finished my 107 shows in 10 months. 100 percent live every night. I bloody smashed it, even if I do say so myself. You lot have been incredible, every night you've been so beautiful, loving and engaged."
