Dannii has admitted she used botox to conceal hard times in her life

And it sounds like little Ethan is keeping his mum on his toes. Explaining to the Daily Telegraph's Stella magazine, the 47-year-old said that she previously used botox as a "subconscious thing" to avoid letting people see how she really felt, but is now in a good place in her life. "I'm genuinely happy now. I'm dog-tired because I'm a single mother and no on warns you how tiring having a super active little boy is. But life is good". Luckily for Dannii, older sister, Kylie Minogue sounds like a great person to have around to help with babysitting duties. Praising the eyewear designers maternal side, she told the Sunday Times Magazine: "When my brother Brendan had his little boy (Charles, now 10) I hadn't a clue how to hold him. I remember being really impressed by Kylie because she just instinctively knew what to do".

Dannii says her son, Ethan has bought sunshine to her life

Dannii has previously opened up about the health problems she faced after having Ethan. The Australian beauty admitted that in the early stages, the complications made it "very hard" to be a mum. In a candid interview with Show and Tell magazine, the star said: "I had some health troubles that were undiagnosed for a while. I was really struggling and losing weight rapidly. I had a thyroid trouble, which apparently is quite common after having a baby." Her problems caused her to have her appendix removed, and she admitted as a result "my body was really struggling with a lot of things that weren't working. It was very hard to be a mum." She noted: "It was quite weird for me because I had people coming up to me saying, 'Oh you look fabulous, you've bounced back. You're so skinny.' And I thought, skinny isn't what I want to be. I don't even need to be the size I was before. I just need to be a healthy mum so that I can look after my child".
