Piers Morgan and JK Rowling have had several disagreements on Twitter recently, and during their latest argument Piers' son Spencer has spoken up in the best possible way. The recent dispute began after JK Rowling tweeted an article which praised the author. It read: "Ms Rowling definitely matters. She would hate to be called a celebrity, and guards her private life intensely, so she doesn't play any part of the celebrity game."

Sharing the excerpt, she added: "Just been sent this! Could the writer let me know who he is? I'd love to thank him!" Piers then retweeted the post, adding: "Priceless #humblebrag BS. Nobody plays the celebrity game more abusively or ruthlessly than you, Ms 'Intensely Private Billionaire'."

However, what the TV presenter didn't seem to realise is that the article was actually written by him in a 2010 article for the Daily Mail, titled The 100 British celebrities who really matter by Piers Morgan.

Although the TV personality claimed he knew that the article was his, fans were quick to have a chuckle over Piers' reaction, with one writing: "Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god. He doesn't realise. This is the best day of my life." Another added: "Imagine my face when I googled a line from this and realised it was PIERS MORGAN. Hahahaha. I love you, Jo."

However, the argument reached another level with Piers' son Spencer shared a selfie showing off his Harry Potter tattoo, writing: "Well this is awkward @piersmorgan @jk_rowling." He then shared photos of himself outside Hogwarts at the Universal Studios in Orlando, in front of the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child theatre and in front of the Dursley's house at the Warner Bros. Studio Tour, adding: "One more can't hurt, can it? @piersmorgan."

Piers hilariously reacted to his son's tweets. Replying to a fan who asked if his son really was a huge Harry Potter fan, he wrote: "Sadly, he's a Potter fanatic. My biggest failure in 23 years of parenting. Fortunately, he's as fanatical about Arsenal so I forgive him." He then added: "My son will be sorrier, I just cut him out of my will."
