STORY: Madonna shares candid photos as her children join her on tour
Madonna was granted an adoption on February 7, and will be under observation by the court for a year before the process is finalised. Speaking about the process, judge Fiona Mwale revealed that she asked the star "rather uncomfortable questions" to ensure that she wouldn't stick to a "well-rehearsed speech". She said: "The petitioner is a professional performer and I guarded myself against the danger of her merely reciting a well-rehearsed speech by asking her some rather uncomfortable questions to which she gave very candid answers". She confirmed that Madonna wanted to adopt the girls "to offer a home, love, protection and guidance".
