It's been three months since Jesy Nelson announced the end of her engagement to Rixton lead singer Jake Roche. But it seems the Little Mix star has put her heartache to one side and moved on with TOWIE star Chris Clark, who escorted her to the Brit Awards on Wednesday night. Cuddling up together for a picture, Jesy appeared to be on cloud nine. "I don't want this girl to go back America tomorrow," the TV hunk cryptically wrote on Instagram.

Rumours of a romance between the pair first emerged earlier this month after they started to follow each other on Instagram. Jesy had another reason to be happy on the night as Little Mix picked up the Best Single award for their chart-topping hit Shout Out To My Ex. Fellow bandmate Jade Thirlwall paid tribute to all their exes as they accepted the gong, telling the crowd: "Thank you so much. We honestly didn't think we were going to get it, we were just sat there chin-wagging. We'd like to thank our label Sony, Syco, Simon [Cowell], our amazing A&R, our management, and us girls, because if it wasn't for our friendship, we wouldn't still be going. And lastly cheers to our exes for helping us to do an amazing song, this one's for you lads."

Earlier this year, Jesy opened up about the reason behind the catchy song, which appears on their latest album, Glory Days. She told Z100: "When you break up with someone, it's awful. Is it not one of the worst pains? It's horrendous and we all need a sad song that you sit and cry to. At the end of the day, though, you need something that makes you feel empowered. It makes you think, 'You know what I don't need you anymore. I'm going to go out with my girls and I'm going to get over you because I don't need you.' And that's exactly what 'Shout Out To My Ex' does." The 23-year-old became engaged to Jake in July 2015, although the pair said they were in "no rush" to exchange vows. Split rumours circulated last month when Jesy unfollowed the singer on Instagram and was consequently pictured not wearing her diamond ring.
