Shannen Doherty has posted a photo confirming that she had completed chemotherapy, revealing that she is "exhausted" following the treatment. Sharing a snap of herself under a duvet, she wrote: "#fbf to this morning. Oct7, 2016... not that long ago. Last day of chemo. Exhausted. Now that I'm done with chemo and radiation, the waiting game is here. Waiting for test. Waiting to see if I'm clear or not. Waiting for reconstruction. Waiting. I think when one gets cancer, they are always waiting to a certain extent. To those who know... I'm waiting with you. #cancerslayer."

The actress, who is best known for her roles in 90210 and Charmed, was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015. Back in December she thanked for doctors for all of their support throughout her treatment. Sharing a snap from her radiation treatment on Instagram, she captioned: "Another day of radiation. Meet Anna and Vince, 2 members of my radiation team. They make a concerted effort to talk to me and show me what's going on in this process so I don't feel so out of control in it. Never be too timid to speak up and ask for what you need to get thru the process. None of this is easy but a great team can make it more pleasant."

The star, who has given her Instagram followers an honest insight into her illness throughout her treatment, also spoke to the Press Association about her illness, saying: "I'm feeling ridiculously lucky and very blessed. Cancer has changed my life for the better. It's made me a better human being. It stripped away all of the walls and barriers. It exposes any lie in your life whatsoever. It exposes who's not really there for you and who really is there for you. It's this brilliant thing where you just look around and think, 'Oh my god, this person is amazing, they're showing up for me in a way I never expected.'"
