Jools Oliver has been posting a lot of sweet pictures of her youngest son, River recently, but on Tuesday night it was her oldest boy, Buddy, who held fort. Like all children up and down the country, the adorable youngster will no doubt be getting excited for World Book Day on Thursday, and thanks to his mum his costume was ready in good time for the big day. Captioning the snap, Jools wrote: “Dress rehearsal…world book day”. While the doting mum didn’t give away Buddy’s chosen character, he can be seen wearing a baker boy cap and matching jacket while tying up his shoes. Followers took to guessing who Buddy was posing as, with many suggesting he was Oliver Twist or the Artful Dodger, while others thought he could even be Emil Svensson from the Swedish children’s story, Emil from Loenneberg.

No longer the baby of the family, Buddy upgraded to an impressive big boys bed earlier in the year

Buddy, six, is often pictured on both his parents Instagram sites, and bares an uncanny resemblance to his famous dad, Jamie Oliver. Back in January, the six-year-old, now a big brother, upgraded to a big boy’s bed and it was far from boring! With his mum Jools sharing a photo on Instagram, the snap shows an impressive bed replicating a treehouse, decorated with a superhero mask, bat symbols and fairy lights. Jools captioned the sweet snap: "From his little cot bed to his first 'big boy bed'! Think he likes it @nubie_kids your beds are amazing." Nubie Kids then regrammed the photo, writing: "Our Tree House bed, now making it even harder to get up in the mornings! Thanks @joolsoliver!" Fans were quick to discuss the bed, with one writing: "What an amazing bed! Lucky Buddy." Another added: "I'd actually love this for myself!"

On Monday night, Jools shared an equally cute photo of baby River wearing a pair of vintage dungarees that at 45 years, had been passed down from his siblings, mum and aunties. In an exclusive interview for HELLO! magazine, Jamie recently gave an insight into life in the expanding Oliver household: "River is really good now, so we're relieved. Sleep deprivation is hard. But it's a dream now. We're like teenagers all of a sudden. We just need to get River into a bit more of a routine before we leave the house. Having time alone with Jools is the rarest thing."
