Jools Oliver took to Instagram on Thursday to share with fans a sweet snap of her youngest daughter, Petal, dressed up in her World Book Day costume. Like all parents up and down the country, Jools will have had the task of kitting out her children in outfits to represent their favourite book, and she sure did a good job! Captioning the photo: “Matlida”, young Petal is seen beaming at the camera, dressed in her school uniform and clutching a pile of books. Clearly Roald Dahl is a popular read in the Oliver household! Followers were impressed with Petal’s likeness to the character, with one writing: “Awww she is just so cute”, while another parent reminisced: “Brings back memories of those days when I wore school uniform...suits your lovely down to the ground.” Earlier in the week, Jools posted a photo of Buddy’s dress rehearsal for World Book Day, where followers took to guess his character, with popular options being Oliver Twist and the Artful Dodger.

Jools has been posting a lot of sweet snaps of her brood of late. On Wednesday night, the doting mum-of-five took a picture of a family dinner, describing it as her favourite time: “Missing you @jamieoliver my favourite time of the evening of course just before it all really kicks off”. The Littlebird designer also made reference to her husband, Jamie Oliver, who is currently away working in Naples and missing from the family dinner table.

Jamie often talks about the importance of family life, recently telling HELLO!: “"Since Poppy was born, I just have to start at five, finish at 10 at night, Monday to Friday, I have my structured holidays, my structured weekends, and I try to be a good boss and a good dad." Adding, "If you want to do lots of things well, surround yourself by amazing women, end of story!" he adds.
