Strictly Come Dancing couple Aljaž Skorjanec and Janette Manrara have opened up to Hello! Magazine about their upcoming nuptials. Sharing their excitement, the stars revealed they were most looking forward to their first dance at their wedding. “We haven’t decided what the first dance will be yet, but I think it will be something really simple, pretty and intimate,” Aljaz tells Hello!. “It’s just going to be a lovely day dedicated to celebrating our love.”
The couple, both professional dancers on the popular BBC show, will tie the knot this summer and have been busy planning their big day in between the recent Strictly national tour and their own touring stage show Remembering Fred, a tribute to the legendary Fred Astaire, which kicks off next month at theatres around the country.

Despite their hectic schedule, Janette, 33, has still found time to find her dream wedding dress. “I have my dress and it’s going to be beautiful,” she explains. “I don’t think I’m Bridezilla though. For me, the day is more about having people that we love there than the small details; I’m not really that fussy. We’re hoping that all the Strictly gang will be there.”Aljaz adds: “I’m confident that people will dance at our wedding, that’s for sure. On tour Ed Sheeran’s Shape of You was our theme song so we’re definitely going to be dancing to that.” The couple, who met in a dance studio in 2010 and got engaged five years later, also say they might have to delay their honeymoon if they return to Strictly for the next season.
