Disappointing news for Bros fans. The recently-reformed pop group have announced they have cancelled all of their upcoming concert dates outside London and Manchester. The duo, brothers Matt and Luke Goss, had been scheduled to play a full UK tour this summer, with seven dates announced in venues around the country. But they will now just perform three concerts; two in London and one in Manchester.

Bros - Matt and Luke Goss - have cancelled the majority of their reunion tour dates

A statement issued on behalf of the band said that the dates in Newcastle, Glasgow, Nottingham and Birmingham had been cancelled "due to unforeseen logistical circumstances", with Matt and Luke offering their "sincere apologies" to fans. It read: "It is with sincere regret that Bros have been forced to cancel four dates on their forthcoming UK tour. Matt and Luke Goss apologise to their fans for any disappointment. Concerts set for Nottingham August 23, Birmingham August 25, Newcastle August 26, and Glasgow August 27, will now not take place. All ticket holders for the cancelled shows will receive an automatic refund."

Bros' first London date is taking place on 19 August, and will mark the anniversary of their farewell show at Wembley in 1989. Tickets for that concert sold out in just seven seconds when they went on sale at the end of 2016.

Speaking to members of the press, including HELLO!, as they announced the tour, Luke said the reunion was something he had "always wanted to happen in my heart". He added: "This is a dream come true. I think fans deserve something that will stand up today. I'm like a big kid right now. I'm pinching myself. I'm very excited!" In the time since the band's split, Matt has forged a successful career in the US, with a residency in Las Vegas, while his brother Luke became an actor, appearing on TV shows and movies including Hellboy II and Blade II.
