Kylie Minogue made one very lucky window cleaner’s day – or possibly year - after he came faced to face with the pop star while doing a day's work in Sydney. Good-humoured Kylie made sure to mark the occasion by taking a series of photos of the pair for keepsake – even captioning them for extra effect. In the first image, she appears to have handwritten the words “Hi Sydney”, as she is seen laughing at her window. Meanwhile, the cleaner is seen crossing his arms while resting mid-air on a harness, looking relaxed and happy – and clearly not afraid of heights! In a second photo, Kylie wrote: “Clean windows? Have a chat? Squeaky clean… Nice to meet you!!”, with the pair seen acting out a mock conversation, which she shared with fans on Twitter.

Kylie was in Sydney to promote the launch of her new Specsavers glasses range, which launched in the UK on February 14. The 30 piece collection of glasses and sunglasses is inspired by the star's own style, with modern classics, reinvented vintage and subtle bling designs thrown into the mix, designed to suit people at all stages of their life. Talking about her designs back in October, she said: "Young people, more mature people, it's (wearing glasses) a part of so many people's lives and a part of your presentation. You want to be able to feel confident wearing them. It is important for me that glasses can suit other faces and shapes and not just mine.”

Earlier in the year, the 48-year-old called off her wedding to Joshua Sasse, but seems to be enjoying newly-single life. In a recent interview with Sydney Morning Herald, Kylie confessed: “It's not been the easiest times of late but that is a purely personal matter and I have no regrets. Life is about love and experience and learning and evolving and I am richer and thankful for all of the experiences in my life. I'm also very touched and thankful for the generous support from my fans."
