Say hello to J-Rod! Jennifer Lopez is officially off the market, HELLO! can confirm. The Booty singer is dating former Yankees player Alex Rodriguez ("A-Rod"). A source told Page Six of the couple: "They have been seeing each other for a few months — and were together in LA this past weekend."

The insider continued: "They are really into each other because they have so much in common — from their Latin roots, to their love of New York, and their kids." Another source told People magazine that the mum-of-two seems excited about her new relationship, adding: "[Alex] has been around her family and she really likes that he is a dad. She is aware, though, that he is a ladies’ man too and is being cautious. For now, it’s just fun. She is single and enjoys dating."

HELLO! reached out to Jennifer and Alex’s reps, who declined to comment. The singer was most recently linked to rapper Drake, while the retired baseball player split from tech mogul Anne Wojcicki last month, after nearly a year of dating. The Shades of Blue actress and Alex are both parents. The sports star shares two daughters, Natasha, 12, and Ella, eight, with his ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis, while JLo shares nine-year-old twins Max and Emma with her ex-husband Marc Anthony.

Last week Jennifer insisted that she and the father of her children were not getting back together. "You know, Marc and I are good how we are right now,” she during an appearance on The View. “There is a reason we're not together but we're great friends.” The 47-year-old continued: "We're parents together and we're even working on a Spanish-language album together. That has been even better for us because actually, we met working. That's where we really are magical, when we're on stage together and stuff like that. That's where we're good and so we leave it there."
