Alex Jones enjoyed a trip to the Affordable Art Fair in London with her growing family on Saturday, and took to Instagram to share a sweet photo of their day out together. In the picture, Alex and her husband, Charlie Thomson, can be seen taking a riverside stroll with baby Ted, accompanied with the caption: “Heading home along the Thames with husband, mother in low and little Ted after a lovely day at the #affordableartfair.” Fans expressed their delight after the snap was posted, with one writing: "Ah looks like a lovely walk," while another wrote: "Ahh welcome to the Teddy club - best name."

The proud parents welcomed Ted five weeks ago and unveiled their son's full name – Edward Alun Burrell Thomson at the beginning of the month on Instagram, accompanied by a photo of his birth certificate.

Until recently, the TV star, 39, had been keeping tight-lipped about a name reveal, admitting that she and Charlie were struggling. Speaking on The One Show via a phone call, four days after giving birth, she said: "We're a bit behind on the whole name thing because we didn't know if we were having a boy or a girl. We thought, 'When we see him we'll know what he looks like', but actually it's really hard." Alex did, however, give details about her little bundle of joy, saying: "He was 7lbs 11oz – a lovely weight. It was all very straightforward. Charlie was with me and mum and dad were in the waiting room." Of parenthood, she added: "It's the most wonderful feeling. The last four days have been heaven. We're in this bubble the three of us. It's just the best time."

Since Ted’s arrival, the presenter has shared numerous photos of her newborn on Instagram. The first was a gorgeous picture of the baby boy wrapping his tiny hand around Alex's finger. "My new obsession," she captioned the snap, adding: "#soinlovewithhim." Alex also confirmed her son's arrival on social media, sharing a photo of some congratulatory cards along with the caption: "So happy to let you know that our beautiful baby boy was born on Sunday morning weighing 7lbs11 and with a full head of dark hair. Charlie and I are head over heels in love. A special thank you to the amazing midwives in the Queen Charlotte hospital for everything you did for us. We are so excited and grateful to be in the parent club."
