Coleen Rooney pulled out all the stops as she morphed into a shimmering, gold mermaid for her friend's birthday party over the weekend. The mum-of-three was unrecognisable as she wore heavy make-up, including teal green lipstick, and thick matching eyeshadow. She slipped into a sequined, figure-hugging gown that featured a fin-like train, writing on Twitter: "Brilliant night at @Christinaxgx 30th party!! Loved my mermaid dress."
Wayne Rooney's wife shared a similar photo on Instagram, also revealing that the family had visited Chester Zoo over the weekend. Coleen regularly shares gorgeous family photos on her social media pages. The doting mum and her footballer husband, who have been together since they were 16, are the parents to three sons – Klay, Kai and Kit.

Although she's been in the spotlight for over a decade, Coleen revealed her most important job is being the perfect mother. During a chat with HELLO! Online last year, she revealed: "You've got to have a routine, which I think I've cracked with the three of them. I plan my days and I'm constantly writing lists, I'm good at organising things. I'm quite bossy!" She added: "My mum helps out a lot, and Wayne and I share the responsibilities. We do a lot as a team. When we go on holiday, you've probably seen, my mum and dad come everywhere with us, because they help out a lot with the kids and also they're just really good company."

Coleen also opened up to MailOnline about the negative impacts of using social media. "There's so much criticism about how people look and their weight, but it's never pressured me," she explained. "I'm quite a strong character and I only ever do things for myself, not for anyone else. From being in the public eye from a young age, that's what I've learned. I'm quite confident now. I've been lucky because me and Wayne have done it together, together we've [experienced] different negative things, I just think you've got to get on with it."
