Penny Lancaster took to Instagram on Tuesday to share a rare photograph of her youngest son Aiden. The proud mum-of-two uploaded a sweet snapshot showing Aiden sat on dad Rod Stewart's lap while attending a football match at the weekend. "My little monkey's first game," she wrote alongside the close-up. "A right of passage after turning 6 [sic]." As a special birthday treat, Aiden joined his father and his big brother Alastair at Celtic Park in Glasgow on Sunday to watch the singer's beloved team take on rivals, Rangers FC. Both Aiden – who turned six in February - and Alastair, 11, were kitted out in green and white Celtic strips and scarves, and seemed to be in their element as they enjoyed the match with their dad.

The boys' outing comes after Penny opened up about the Stewarts' home life - and revealed that Rod is the most demanding member of the family. In an interview with the Sunday People last month, the 45-year-old admitted: "Rod has always been like my third child and my most demanding boy out of the three. When Rod is on tour, in hotel rooms, and after the euphoria of a show, with millions of fans screaming 'I love you', he comes home and then he's just Dad, he's not Sir Rod Stewart anymore. It must be a bump back to earth. So he requires a lot of my attention."

The Loose Women panellist also revealed that Rod's revelations in interviews often leave her blushing. "When he talks about personal things I get a bit flustered," she admitted. "It's Rod who says the stuff that makes me go 'Oh God' in interviews! He's the cheeky one." Penny and 72-year-old Rod are set to celebrate their tenth wedding anniversary in June. The couple tied the knot back in 2007 at La Cervara near Portofino in Italy. Sir Rod has previously said that the couple will be renewing their vows at their original wedding venue in celebration of the big event.

"We are going to do what we did ten years ago," he said during an appearance on Loose Women last year. "We are going to go down to Italy with all the same friends and do it all over again. We are just going to have a re-run." Of his wife, he added: "I always maintain that you have got to wait until the right person comes in. Don't go out with just anybody as if the wrong person is there, then the right person can't get in."
