Good news B*Witched fans! The nineties girlband, featuring Lindsay Armaou, Sinead O'Carroll and sisters Keavy and Edele Lynch, are set to make a comeback for their 20th anniversary. To mark the milestone, the pop group have promised to release new music next year. "We're going to be what we are now musically and what we feel now," Edele confirmed to Daily Star. "We're not going to try tap into what we were because that's nostalgia and the music industry has moved on so much as we all have... we've updated it so we feel comfortable with it."

The Irish quartet produced hits such as C'est La Vie and Jump Down. Even though it has been two decades since the release of their 1998 number one hit, C'est La Vie, Edele admitted that she was a little "fed up" when the song got stuck in her head. "I think it's incredible," she added. "I think at some point I was getting a little fed up with it, and two years ago I did pantomimes and we had C'est La Vie in the pantomime." In 2012, B*Witched enjoyed a short reunion when they got back together for the Big Reunion TV show, which documented Edele and bandmate Sinéad's rocky friendship. Speaking about the turmoil, the singer explained: "We're the best of friends again now and I talk to Sinéad in particular every day and I wouldn't want my life without her again."

STORY: Steps to release new single penned by ABBA stars
News of their comeback comes weeks after Steps announced their plans to release a new album, Tears on the Dancefloor, to celebrate their 20th anniversary. The group, comprised of Lisa Scott-Lee, Faye Tozer, Claire Richards, Ian 'H' Watkins and Lee Latchford-Evans, have also collaborated with ABBA's very own Bjorn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson for a single on the anticipated album. "[Steps] always had that comparison with Abba so it’s amazing to work with Benny and Bjorn," Lisa told The Sun. "When we heard the special album track they gave to us we said, 'that's perfect'. It's a bridge to where we were and it moves on nicely to where we’re taking the new music. We have a great new team around us now and we’re ready to push on. We’ve been quietly working away probably for the past 18 months to two years to get everything just right for the new album."
