Gareth Gates mixed with famous faces as he enjoyed a day out at the Cheltenham Festival on Wednesday, looking smart in a crisp white shirt and grey waistcoat. The singer posted photos from his day on his Twitter account, including a picture alongside jockey, Sir AP McCoy. Fans were quick to comment on the sweet snap, with one writing: “Lovely picture, Hope you enjoyed your day,” while another added “Looking very smart there Gareth, hope you have a great time.” The star’s hair was seen sporting his newly infamous sweeping combover, which caused a stir after his appearance on This Morning last week, with fans dividing in opinion on the 32-year-olds latest ‘do. "Looks like Gareth Gates is loving his hair #combover #ThisMorning," one wrote. Another remarked: "Oh dear. What's happened to Gareth Gates' hair?"

It’s been a busy few weeks for Gareth. On Saturday night, he left Cheryl in stitches at his hilarious impression of her while taking part in a special Girls Aloud tribute act on the BBC1 show Let’s Sing and Dance for Comic Relief. Joined by Blue singer Duncan James, Ritchie Neville from 5ive, S Club 7's Jon Lee and Ben Ofoedu from Phats & Small, making up Boys Aloud, the former Pop Idol star nailed his performance while singing Biology on stage. Following the lively routine, Cheryl gave Gareth her nod of approval. "Brilliant," she simply wrote alongside a laughing emoji.
