It's been 15 years since Cole Sprouse played Ross Geller's son Ben on popular American sitcom Friends. Now the 24-year-old has opened up about his experience on the show - and in particular, working alongside Jennifer Aniston. In a new interview with the New York Post, the child star revealed he was "infatuated" with the Hollywood actress, who played Rachel Green. He explained: "I had a really, really hard time working with Aniston because I was so in love with her. I was infatuated. I was speechless."

Cole, who now stars as Jughead Jones on The CW's Riverdale, admitted that he found remembering his lines very difficult because of his childhood crush - at the tender age of eight! "I'd get all bubbly and forget my lines and completely blank," he added. "It was so difficult." The actor also revealed how he still gets recognised for his role on the iconic comedy series. "I was only in seven episodes, but it's funny now that people are recognising me for that because my brother and I have been working since we were 8 months old," he said. "Because Friends is on Netflix, there's a renewed interest from that. People can call me 'Ben' on the street and I will turn around. It's a funny little process."

Since his appearance on the show, Cole is yet to be reunited with any of the stars - including his on-screen father David Schwimmer. "If I saw any of them, I'd say, 'Hello'," he continued. "But it's been a while and I certainly don't look the same, so it'd be a hard sell. And if I did look the same, that'd be a little disconcerting." Along with his twin brother Dylan Sprouse, Cole landed his first major role in Big Daddy, acting as seven-year-old boy Julian opposite Adam Sandler. Although Cole appeared on Friends, the brothers' second biggest claim to fame was playing siblings in The Suite Life of Zack & Cody – the Disney series they starred in for three years.
