The couple, who got married back in 2010, often talk about their family life while presenting This Morning. The other week, Ruth became emotional when she recalled the moment her husband Eamonn popped the question, revealing that he had asked her mother's permission for her hand in marriage as her father Dennis - who died back in 2012 - was battling with dementia. "My father obviously couldn't give him permission so Eamonn asked my mum," she told viewers. "I didn't know this and I thought that was a really lovely thing to do. "

The pair tied the knot in a HELLO! country wedding in Hampshire after 12 years together, and have a 15-year-old son, Jack. Eamonn also has three other children from a previous marriage, Declan, Rebecca and Niall.
