Cheryl has created a playlist of some of her favourite songs to celebrate Mother's Day this weekend. The pregnant singer, who is due to welcome her first child with boyfriend Liam Payne any day now, clearly had motherhood on her mind as she shared the selection of tunes on her Spotify account. And the playlist would be even more poignant if Cheryl gave birth over the next few days, as Sunday would mark her first Mother's Day as a mum.

The selection of ten songs uploaded online show Cheryl's varied taste in music. The playlist, called Mother's Day, kicks off with the Spice Girls all-time favourite Mama, followed by You Might Need Somebody by Shola Ama and A Song for Mama by Boyz II Men. Also featuring on her playlist are Take That's Could It Be Magic and East 17's Stay Another Day. The selection ends with De'Lacy's upbeat Hideaway.

Cheryl, 33, and her boyfriend Liam, 23, are no doubt excited to meet their little one. Cheryl is reportedly due to give birth in March, and in preparation, she moved into her boyfriend's Surrey mansion over Christmas. The couple have remained tight-lipped about their baby, with Cheryl only showing off her baby bump in the third trimester. But last week Liam thrilled fans when he finally spoke publicly about his girlfriend and the exciting next chapter in their lives.

He told Rollacoaster magazine: "Obviously I have the most beautiful girlfriend in the world and she's absolutely amazing. She's been my dream girl since I was younger. She's so ace." The One Direction star also revealed that Cheryl has been an invaluable support as he prepares for the release of his first solo album. "She's a wonderful, wonderful person and it's amazing to have someone who can relate to so much of things – someone who's taken greater steps than me. Her solo career was amazing. She's been in the industry for 14 years now. She fully supports me. We're super happy. It's a very personal, precious time for us. I'm still learning. I'm only 23."
