She's a doting mother to three beautiful sons, and in a new interview Coleen Rooney has spoken candidly about the pressures of being a working mum. The fashion designer - who is married to football star Wayne Rooney - explained how the experience of becoming a parent completely changes your mindset. In an exclusive interview with HELLO!, the 30-year-old revealed: "My favourite part is the love that they show towards you. How much they rely on you – you are their everything. To know that this little person is relying on you so much and that you are bringing them up and developing them, it's a massive achievement and you get so much out of that." She added: "I think you have to understand each other and know that they can always come to you to talk to you about anything, no matter when or where."

Coleen Rooney has opened up about motherhood

Coleen and her husband Wayne - who have been together since they were 16, and married in 2008 - are proud parents to Kai, seven, Klay, three, and 15-month-old Kit. The mother-of-three noted: "The hard thing is, it's hard work at times. They have lots of after school clubs and your life revolves around them. You don't have as much time to yourself. They can push your patience at times, when they are babies you have the sleepless nights at time. But when they give you that smile, it is all worth it and any stress is forgotten about!"

When asked if she would like to expand her brood, the media personality, who has teamed up with McDonald's for the 2017 Football Mum of the Year Award, revealed she is not ruling out more children. "I'm not sure, at the moment we are pretty content and we have got a lot to juggle," she explained. "I don't know, but I would never say never - I have always said that I would like a big family but at the minute I'm not really thinking about it!"

Coleen went on to share the advice her mother passed on to her about surviving motherhood. "My mum and dad brought me up and when I think of my childhood it was perfect for me - I loved it," she confided. "My mum and dad were great role models. They taught me about respect and manners and treating other people the way you want to be treated. That's all the things I talk to my boys about. I think they are the important things in life to get by - having respect for other people is a massive thing."

When it comes to dishing her own tips, she revealed: "I have always been an organised person which as a mum I would say that's an important thing - to be organised. I've always been that type of person. I've always been quite strict in ways with myself and other people but I think nothing has changed in my life. But as a person it has made me think less, I don't think about myself as much as I used to because you have these little people that you have to think about 24/7."
