It's been eight years to the day since Jade Goody passed away. Among those remembering the reality star on her anniversary was Jack Tweed, who shared a heartfelt tribute to his late wife on Instagram. Jade lost her battle with cervical cancer in 2009 aged just 27. Jack, who married Jade just a few weeks before her death, took to social media to share a photo of the pair together on the red carpet, smiling for the cameras. He wrote: "5th June, 1981 – 22nd March 2009. #RememberJade #rip #smeartest."

Fans quickly responded with messages of support, with one writing: "RIP Jade. Never forgotten." Another wrote, "Thinking of you and her children today," while a third added: "What a woman she was. Such an inspiration. She was one in a million xx." Jack's touching tribute comes weeks after Jeff Brazier – father of her two sons, Bobby, 13, and 11-year-old Freddie – revealed he is writing a grief survival guide to help children. Alongside a photo of Bobby and Freddie, he told his Instagram followers: "About to write the next chapter of my book #GuideToSurvivingGrief 'What bereaved children want/need from a step-parent.' Any views/experience on this please."

Jeff, 37, has been bringing up his boys as a single parent ever since Jade lost her fight with cancer. He has since gone on to find love again with current partner Kate Dwyer, who now lives in the family home. "I've morphed into something quite different from your average dad," he previously told the Daily Mail. "I'm probably far more sensitive to their feelings and I'm far more aware of when they need emotional support. There are little side effects of my situation where you became really good at doing quite a lot on your own. I've got an ability to push myself beyond tiredness because if I don't do it, it doesn't get done."
