Love my babies and feel beyond blessed x I love u so much @davidbeckham” and “Feeling very loved today The sweetest card from my best friend x I love u all so much.”
Husband David posted his own tribute to wife Victoria: “Happy mama's day to another amazing mummy ... Someone that has raised these beautiful little ones to be the most precious , special and loved children ... A woman that has drive, passion , intelligence and love for her children what gets any better than that ?? Thank you for giving me the most beautiful gift @victoriabeckham (To all the mums have an amazing day).” Victoria’s son Brooklyn shared his message too, saying: “Happy Mother's Day. X love you to the moon and back.”
New mum Alex Jones also posted a lovely message to her mum Mary, thanking for helping her with her baby boy Ted. She wrote: “#happymothersday to the myth, the legend that is Mary. Never have I appreciated her more than in these last few weeks. She reassured me when I thought I was getting motherhood all wrong, she cooked the right things to make sure I regained my strength, she knew how to comfort my son when I'd run out of ideas, she quietly sorted out the house that I'd managed to turn into a bomb site. The list goes on and on. She's tenacious, resilient, strong, unwavering in her love.....everything I hope to be. I may be a novice, but I'm learning from the best.”

Geri Horner and Davina McCall also shared loving messages on Instagram for their mums. Davina wrote words of support for those who have difficult relationships with their mothers: “A quick note to anyone who has a tough relationship with their mum x that's ok... you only need one positive maternal role model in your life to help you learn what it is to be a mum. I was blessed to have two ... Pippy and Gaby. I owe them so much. For all the unconditional love and advice ... thank you.”
Geri paid a wonderful tribute to mums everywhere. She said: “Happy Mother's Day Everyone. To my own mother who worked so tirelessly to look after us, who taught me so much, and helps me with my own children - mothering comes in all different ways; you who have mothered your friend's children, your brothers, sisters, friends, your dogs, your old lonely neighbour, partners, your boyfriend, of course your husband. We can't help it, with or without children we can't help but mother - we care, we worry, we nag, we kiss and we love. It's what we are ITS WHAT WE DO -We're just made that way - keeping everyone together.”
