Elaborating further, she went on to reveal that she could not sleep at night. "I got myself into a state and I was lying in bed every night worrying," Linda explained. "I was lying there night after night worrying about telling Mark as he had been telling me that it would all catch up and I would get myself into debt." She added: "I thought I was going to have a breakdown, I really did. That initial panic telling Mark when he’d been telling me about debt... and with my kids... I felt ashamed."

Eventually the actress spoke to her husband about the difficult situation. Although he warned her about her expenditure, Mark helped pay off some of her debt. Making sure she is now careful with her spending, Linda confessed she's trying to help her five-year-old granddaughter Lila be savvy with money. "We gave Lila a piggybank and she's saving up £2 because she wants to go to Disneyland," she explained.
