March 31, 2017

Ed Sheeran has finally reacted to the viral photograph of a young baby girl named Isla who looks exactly like the Thinking Out Loud singer. During an appearance on Good Morning Britain, the Shape of You singer could not help but laugh at the uncanny resemblance between himself and the adorable baby. "She’s not mine," he joked staring at the photo. "She’s not mine! It’s mad the kind of things that go viral."

Baby Isla shares an uncanny resemblance with the British singer

Even though the West Yorkshire native jokingly denied that he was the father of the adorable little girl, he confessed to host Richard Arnold that he would love to become a father one day. "I don’t want to be touring when I have kids," Ed explained. "I want to be like nipping out every now and then and being able to actually be a father so yeah, I think I would definitely love kids." The Grammy-award winner could soon turn family man after he expressed his desire to settle down with long-time love Cherry Seaborn. The Shape of You singer and his girlfriend have been dating for a year and a half. They knew each other from their school days at Thomas Mills High School in Suffolk but didn't reconnect until 2015.

The singer says he can’t wait to become a father

The photo of Isla broke the Internet last week when people could not help but notice that the British girl had very similar features to the singer-songwriter. The mini-doppelganger’s aunt also told The Sun that many people have noticed the similarities of the two freckled faces. "Everyone comments saying how she's a mini Ed, and I call her baby Sheeran," said the tot’s aunt. "She loves his music, tries to sing along to the words and has a dance."
