New mum Alex Jones has taken to her Instagram page to share a stunning snap from her first post-baby photoshoot. The One Show presenter, 40, had baby Teddy - full name Edward Alun Burrell Thomson- in January and looks beautiful in the picture, which accompanies her interview in The Mail on Sunday’s You Magazine. Wearing a pleated green skirt with floral blouse and pumps, Alex looked quite the glamourous relaxed mummy in the photo. The star’s Instagram followers loved the elegant photo, with one writing: “You look beautiful,” and another saying, “Lovely interview, and looking great.”
In the interview, Alex opened up about becoming a mum at 40 and revealed her priorities have changed now that little Teddy is here. She said: “I don’t look the same as I did but I’m all right about that – life isn’t just about me anymore. I don’t care if I’m a bit wobbly or look more tired, because it’s all part of the fun of being a parent; it’s a badge of honour.” The presenter also addressed questions over when she would return to host The One Show, saying she plans to be back on TV screens later in the spring. “I’ll probably work part time in the beginning. I don’t want to miss Teddy’s milestones,” she explained.
The star spoke about her desire to have more children, but said if it doesn’t happen then that’s ok too. Alex said: “It’s very early days but if we did try to have another one and it wasn’t as easy as it was with Teddy, we might think, well, we’ve been lucky enough to have him so we’ll just have the one. Or we might think it’s been so wonderful having him that we’ll go down the IVF route. I don’t know. I do want two children.”

Alex recently spoke about what’s getting her through sleepless nights with Teddy. She posted a photo of a pile of pancakes to her Instagram page, joking: "When only a big portion of blueberry pancakes will do. #sleeplessnightscure #verylatebrunch #NCT #newmothers." The TV host and her husband Charlie Thomson became proud parents to little Ted back in January, with Alex saying about the birth: “He was 7lbs 11oz – a lovely weight. It was all very straightforward. Charlie was with me and mum and dad were in the waiting room. It's the most wonderful feeling. The last four days have been heaven. We're in this bubble the three of us. It's just the best time."
