In an exclusive interview and photoshoot, Abi Titmuss has revealed that she is pregnant. The 41-year-old former nurse and model and ex-girlfriend of television presenter John Leslie is expecting her first child with fiancé Ari Welkom. “I’m 15 weeks pregnant,” she told Hello! exclusively from her home in Los Angles, which she shares with actor and musician Ari. “I’m so excited about becoming a mum for the first time and I’m thrilled to be announcing it in Hello! I'd been bursting to share the news sooner but we hadn't had the all-clear from the doctor so I had to hold back. I found out I was expecting in the second week of January and it has been very hard keeping it a secret until now. There’s so much going on in our lives – we’re getting married in May!”

The happy ending was a long time coming for Abi, who shot to fame while in an ill-fated relationship with former This Morning host John Leslie. Eager to shed her glamour model past she began an acting career, moving to Hollywood three years ago and landing a role in soap Days of Our Lives. While there she was introduced to Ari, who was immediately smitten and who proposed in May last year when they were on holiday in Hawaii. “At sunset, I took her to this special place on the seashore,” Ari tells Hello! of the romantic proposal. “As I kneeled down in front of her, I pulled out a ring and proposed. I’ll never forget the expression on her beautiful face and how it lit up.”
The couple are now planning their wedding, which will be next month. “I bought my bridal gown last summer,” Abi says. “I chose the style specifically to accommodate my bump if I fell pregnant. It’s absolutely beautiful. “Being here in LA, meeting Ari, and getting pregnant has totally changed my life. I’ve always believed that when you meet the right guy, anything is possible.”
