The proud mum announced the safe arrival of Arthur on Instagram last month, alongside a candid shot of fiance Greg Shepherd carrying the newborn out of hospital. Captioning the sweet photo, the proud mum-of-two wrote: “Welcome to the world our beautiful baby boy we love you more then words can describe, you are truly perfect in every way… 07/03/17”. Fans were quick to congratulate the reality TV star, with one writing: “Congratulations to you both and big sister Nellie,” while another said: “Congratulations Billie and Greg hope the baby is healthy and so excited for you both what have you named him?”
It's been an emotional time for Billie. The reality star was left heartbroken by the death of her great-grandmother two weeks ago, just a few days after the birth of her son. A spokesperson for Billie's sister Sam Faiers confirmed the sad news to Now magazine in a short statement. "We can confirm that Samantha's great grandmother passed away this morning," it read. "We ask that Samantha and her family are given privacy at this very sad time." Both sisters were close to their great grandmother and shared occasional photos of her on their Instagram accounts, including the moment she held Billie's daughter Nellie in her arms for the first time, back in 2014.
