Kylie Jenner attended prom with a fan after hearing that his date had turned him down. The reality show star was filmed by awestruck students at the school as she joined her date for the evening, Albert Ochoa, and had a slow dance with him. The 19-year-old, who was accompanied by her best friend Jordyn Woods, looked to be in great spirits while dressed to the nines of the evening, complete with a traditional corsage around her wrist.

Kylie shared a snap on the way to Prom
Speaking about the evening, Albert's sister tweeted: "Proud to say that's my brother," before adding: "TELL ME WHY MY BROTHER TOOK KYLIE JENNER TO PROM 2NIGHT!!!!!!!". The socialite shared a snap of herself on the way to the evening in Sacramento on a private jet, looking glam in a silk mauve gown. Kylie missed out on her own high school prom after going home schooled at the end of ninth grade.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star isn't the only celebrity to have been invited to prom recently, as Emma Stone was also invited by a teenager who created a La La Land-inspired video in an attempt to impress the Oscar-winning actress. Although his video went viral, the star was unfortunately unable to attend, and sent him a letter which read: "Jacob, thanks for making the greatest proposal I've ever received. I can't tell you what an honour that was and how much I smiled through that entire beautifully orchestrated video. I'm in London working but I hope you have the best time at prom and I'm grateful you thought of me. Thank you." She then referenced his video where he hinted that he looked a little like her co-star Ryan Gosling, adding; "Ps, I do see Gosling around the eyes. Love Emma."
