Simon Cowell has said that his young son Eric is quite the ladies' man. The Britain's Got Talent judge has revealed that his three-year-old, who he shares with American partner Lauren Silverman, already has five girlfriends on the go. Speaking to the Mirror, Simon said: "I think he has actually got my charm. I asked him the other day how many girlfriends he's got and I think he's got five currently so he's doing okay."

Of fatherhood, Simon added: "You get through that first year and suddenly you realise you can talk with them and they've taken on your mannerisms and everything else. It is amazing. He is absolutely incredible and so funny. It's the best thing that ever happened to me. Would I like more babies? I don't make that decision, as you know these things happen."

Fans will see Simon on screens this weekend, when the eleventh series of Britain's Got Talent returns. The Londoner is currently back in his hometown but spends months on end filming in LA. Simon has said there's no risk of losing him to the US for good, though. "I do miss England when I'm in America," the Lambeth-born star admitted. "I'm lucky that I can thank God work still in America. It is still a buzz. Every time I go to the studios and they open the security gates and I'm allowed in I pinch myself thinking I'm still allowed in. I still feel that way. It is really, really special."

He added: "But then when you're nearly finished I can't wait to get back to the UK because you miss your friends, you miss your family. I miss fish and chips, pies, baked beans on toast, it tastes different in England than it does in America. Lauren just said to me 'rain' and I actually do miss the rain. It sounds crazy but I do. When you're in LA every day and it's sunny and then when it does rain it's like 'God I love it'. I could never see myself over here in LA full time."
