Shakira has opened up about her romance with Gerard Piqué through her latest single, Me Enamoré (I Feel in Love). The romantic song reveals what she thought of her partner when she first met him back in 2011. It also references their ten-year age gap and their two children – Milan, four, and Sasha, two. Translated from Spanish, the lyrics read: "Life began to change me/The night I met you/Had little to lose/And the thing went on like this/I was with my striped bra/And my hair half done/I thought, 'He is still a child./But what am I going to do?" She complimented her partner in the lyrics, as the lines: "Look what a beautiful thing/What a round little mouth/I like that little beard," are repeated throughout the song.

She finally hints that she would love more children with him, singing: "With you I would have 10 children/Let’s start with a couple." The star concluded the song confirming her devotion to her boyfriend. The lyrics read: "I never thought it would be like this/How would you look at me?/I thought about it all through the night/This one is for me, it’s for nobody else."
