This Morning host Phillip Schofield rarely speaks about the personal life of his co-presenter Holly Willoughby, but the popular TV star has spoken up in her defence over the weekend. Phil told The Mirror that Holly, 36, is fed up with rumours circulating that she’s pregnant with her fourth child. Phil said: “The minute she’s off poorly everyone says she’s pregnant. If we do an item with drinks she doesn’t like and she doesn’t have one, ‘ooh she must be pregnant’. It drives her mad.”

Holly, who is mum to Harry, seven, Belle, six and Chester, two, took two days sick leave from her job presenting This Morning at the start of April due to a nasty sickness bug. Rumours spread that perhaps Holly was pregnant again, but she was soon back to hosting the show and looking fabulous. At the time, Holly said: “Hi! I'm back! I didn't watch Monday because I was out of the count sleeping. I'm much better - it was 48 hours of grimness. [My daughter] Belle wasn't very well either.” Holly’s temporary replacements were Rylan Clark-Neal and Sarah Greene, who used to present Going Live with Phillip.

In March, Phillip surprised This Morning viewers by revealing that he doesn’t want Holly – who is married to TV producer Dan Baldwin - to have any more children. Phillip joked: “I won’t let Holly have any more children because she has time off the show. I snuck in one night and gave Dan the snip, he still doesn’t realise.” However, in June last year, Holly told The Sun that she wants a large family: “I love being pregnant and I love having babies,” she said. “I don’t want that area of my life to be over because it makes me sad to think I’d not be doing it again.'

Holly has also recently revealed that she’s hoping to present another series of TV show Surprise Surprise. The presenter told the Daily Star: “We are trying to work things out with scheduling. I love doing Surprise Surprise so I’m hoping we’ll come back to do it again soon.” Holly has presented four series of the hit show since 2012. She is also a panellist on Celebrity Juice alongside her close friend Fearne Cotton.
