Any parent knows that the first few weeks caring for a baby are exhausting, and a strong cup of coffee is a much-needed tonic first thing in the morning. It certainly looks that way for new dad Liam Payne who welcomed his son into the world last month with his partner Cheryl. The One Direction singer took to his Instagram page on Saturday to share a funny photo with his 13.2 million followers. He posted a picture of his Starbucks cup which had ‘Payno’ written on the side, clearly a nickname for the star. Liam simply captioned the photo “liampayneMorning”.

Liam and Cheryl have kept a low profile since announcing the birth of their baby boy on Saturday 25 March, and fans are eagerly awaiting the name of the famous couple’s son. Liam’s Instagram followers were quick to comment on the coffee cup snap, with one writing: “Morning daddy” and another posting: “Well, someone definitely needs coffee to stay awake now. Enjoy the parenting/working life Payno!” A third fan said: “Too bad it didn't say Daddy Payno, how is life as a dad?” Many of Liam’s followers asked for more details on the new dad’s home life. One person asked: “How are you today and Cheryl and your baby boy?”

On Friday Liam posted a photo of himself looking tired and brooding to his page, clearly feeling tired from caring for a new baby. Cheryl hasn’t posted any new photos to her page since announcing the arrival of their son, only changing her status to: “Living in a love bubble”. Fans are speculating as to what name the Fight For This Love singer will choose for her little boy. Back in 2014, she revealed to GQ magazine about her desire to start a family: "I'd love kids. I'm obsessed with babies. Of course I've thought about baby names. A million times! I like Alfie for a little boy. I know that's what I was put on this earth to do. To be a mother."
