Aw, these two! Mark Wright has opened up about keeping the romance alive with his wife Michelle Keegan. The couple, who are celebrating their second wedding anniversary in May, go the extra mile when it comes to showing their affection for each other. Recalling the most romantic thing Michelle has done for him, Mark said: "My 30th birthday this year. She put so much effort into everything really. She knew what I wanted, the party that she put on, then she took me out in London. It just went on for days, and I couldn't believe how much time and effort she spent on it."

Mark, who was speaking exclusively to HELLO! Online for Take Me Out: The Gossip, was treated to a host of birthday celebrations by his wife Michelle. He kicked off his pre-birthday celebrations with a date night in Miami, followed by a surprise bash in his native Essex, again organised by Michelle. He was also treated to another night out by his loved ones.
Despite their evenings on the town, Mark said: "We do just love a night in"
But partying aside, the former TOWIE star admitted that he and Michelle, 29, prefer a cosy night in than a night on the town. "We went out Valentine's night and I was like, 'Babe, how much could you just stay in now?' but we had to go because it was Valentine's night, but I'm definitely about staying in," said Mark. "I think it changed when I turned 30," he joked, adding: "No, it just gradually happened. We just love our stay in nights. I suppose because we're both always so busy and travelling and so it's hard to always be at home. We do just love a night in."
Michelle will be filming abroad for Our Girl, and can no doubt expect a visit from her husband. "I went out last time and I'll go again," said Mark. "When I work away, she comes to see me. If you're in a relationship you make the time and you make it work. We always make it work."

Mark was chatting to us ahead of the return of Take Me Out: The Gossip, which will see him and co-host Laura Jackson return to screens on Sunday 23rd April. The pair have worked on the spin-off for three series. "The longer you get to know her, the more you hate her," Mark joked of his co-star. "Doing this show has made me realise how important it is to get on with your co-host because we spend every minute of every day with each other. We are a bit like brother and sister, we have the odd tiff but we get on really well." "We get on really well," quipped Laura. "I don't think there's anything I don't like about Mark. He's just really annoying!"
