It's been over a year since her beloved husband René Angélil passed away, and in a new interview Celine Dion has confessed she has no plans to move on with another man. The 49-year-old said goodbye to her partner in January 2016 after he lost his three-year battle with throat cancer. "I am definitely in love with [René], married to him," she told The Sun's Dan Wootton. "He's the love of my life. It's very difficult for me to see myself with another person. The love that I have for him, I live it every day.'"

The singer, who shares son René-Charles, 16, and six-year-old twins Eddy and Nelson with her late husband, admitted that she will grieve for the rest of her life. She added: "I think I will probably grieve for the rest of my life. René has prepared me for all my life since I'm 12. I have never met another man in my life, never kissed another man in my life." It has been a difficult year for the multi-award winning star, as well as losing her husband to cancer, her brother died two days later. Taking some time away from the limelight, Celine later released her new French album Encore un soir in August 2016.

The Titanic singer appeared on Thursday's Lorraine to speak about René, revealing she feels his presence on stage. "My husband and I, we were a team and we're still a team," she said. "We were one. We always said that we were - when I was very, very young, - 50/50. He was very, very kind and I feel extremely fortunate that I had him as a husband and that he gave me three magnificent children and I see him through them every day, every day. But René will never, ever leave me.

The also noted: "I'm extremely proud of my children, extremely proud of what my husband has prepared me for without knowing because today I can tell you that I feel very strong."
