Ferne McCann has confirmed that she is expecting her first child with her ex-boyfriend, Arthur Collins, who was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder on Saturday night. Speaking about Ferne's reported pregnancy, her spokesperson told HELLO!: "Ferne is grateful for the sympathetic way news of her pregnancy has been covered and people's support and obviously her first concern is for her child's health."
She continued: "Accordingly she does not wish to discuss the pregnancy further given the early stage it is at and the immense strain that Ferne is currently under. Nor does she wish to discuss her ex-boyfriend who she does not recognise from the events of the last week. Ferne is in no way seeking sympathy for her situation and is determined to do all she can to have a happy and heathy child and face the challenges of being a single parent with all her energy. Her thoughts are with the victims of the horrific attack on Easter Monday."

Arthur was arrested at the weekend in connection to the recent acid attack in a London nightclub in which 20 people were injured. The Metropolitan Police released a statement confirmed that they had arrested Arthur after searching for him for several days. "Arthur Collins, 25, was arrested at an address in Rushden, Northamptonshire on Saturday night, 22 April by officers from the Met's Specialist Crime & Operations and Hackney Borough, with the assistance of armed officers from the East Midlands Operational Support Service and Northamptonshire Police," it read. "Collins has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. He will be taken into custody at a London police station in due course."
Arthur was recently arrested for attempted murder
Ferne previously released a statement condemning her ex-boyfriend's actions, which read: "[Ferne] was not with Arthur on Sunday night, was not at Mangle, and has no direct knowledge of the events that unfolded. As much as anybody she wants to know the truth and urges Arthur to co-operate fully with the police and attend a police station immediately."
