Susanna Reid had viewers in hysterics during Monday's episode of Good Morning Britain. The 46-year-old was a little left red faced after she incorrectly called out co-presenter Michael Underwood's name, introducing him as "Michael Underwear". Stunned, the guest entertainment correspondent remarked: "Michael Underwear?" while co-host Piers Morgan exclaimed: "Is that what you called him? Oh my God."

Clearly embarrassed by what she had done, Susanna remained quiet as the pair burst into fits of giggles. "We only call him that off camera normally," Piers jokingly noted, with Susanna later asking: "How many times have you ever been called Michael Underwear?" - to which Michael responded: "Once, today. Apart from obviously those horrendous school memories." Piers then added: "Well done Susanna brining back those mental scars."

Earlier this week, Susanna was left mortified for a completely different reason. On this week's Sunday Brunch, the news anchor was reminded of her short-lived career as an actress when hosts Simon Rimmer and Tim Lovejoy shared a picture of her aged 12. The throwback snap saw Susanna dressed in a mustard yellow jumper as she appeared on The Price in 1985. "What was I wearing?! And those eyebrows," the stunned star said, before confessing: "Mind you, they're pretty similar now!" Simon then noted: "You still look the same - your facial features!" – to which, Susanna quipped back: "Oh, I haven't aged? Thank you so much!" It was also revealed that Susanna also appeared in the stage production of Agatha Christie's Spiders Web in 1982.
