Mel B is continuing to stand strong amid her contentious divorce battle with husband Stephen Belafonte. The singer has returned to work as a judge on America's Got Talent and looked confident and in control in a new video posted on Instagram. Mel's co-star Heidi Klum shared the Boomerang clip, showing herself, Mel and host Tyra Banks strutting their stuff outside the film studios. "With my girls @officialmelb @tyrabanks," Heidi captioned the clip.

Mel, 41, looked TV ready in a glitzy sequined red dress which she paired with strappy red stilettos. The former Spice Girl was upbeat and all smiles, showing no signs of her ongoing divorce battle. Mel filed for divorce in March, stating "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for her and Stephen's split. The pair were married for ten years and share one daughter together, five-year-old Madison.

In his response to Mel's divorce filing, Stephen requested joint physical and legal custody of their daughter. Earlier this week, a Los Angeles judge granted Stephen supervised visitation rights. The film producer will have two, four-hour sessions with his daughter each week at the Ness Counseling Center in L.A. The judge also ruled that Mel's restraining order against her husband remains in place. In official documents, the singer alleged a litany of abuse had taken place throughout her and Stephen's ten-year marriage, and said she had tried to leave her partner on a number of occasions, but claimed he had threatened to destroy her career and take her children, adding: "[He] threatened me with violence and threatened to destroy my life in every possible way."

Mel's America's Got Talent co-stars have spoken out in defence of the TV star. Heidi recently told People: "I think it definitely helped [Mel] that we were working so much. Because sometimes it's good when you have to work because it keeps things off your mind." Fellow judge Simon Cowell has also told The Sun: "She's an incredible person. If you think about what Mel's done since leaving the Spice Girls and what she's gone through, how hard she works and how I saw her try to handle this situation, it was astonishing. Yes, she's under pressure but I think she's in a good place."
