Melania Trump rang in her first birthday as First Lady of the United States in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday. President Donald Trump's wife turned 47 on 26 April and celebrated her special day attending a luncheon for Senate spouses at the National Gallery of Art. Melania looked characteristically stylish for the occasion wearing a navy coat dress that featured a croc-embossed belt. Barron Trump's mum styled her hair down with her signature blowout.
Ahead of the luncheon, the first lady tweeted, "Looking forward to today's Senate spouses luncheon at the National Gallery of Art. A wonderful group doing great things for our country!" During the day, the former model and her husband also welcomed teachers to the White House to recognize the National Teacher of the Year along with Teacher of the Year from each state and territory.
