Jessica Biel loves her husband Justin Timberlake's musical abilities, but when it comes to son Silas inheriting his father's talents, the actress hopes the apple falls very far away from the tree.

"There are many qualities I'd love him to get from Justin. But there's one thing I don't want for him. I really don't want him to be a musician," Jessica admitted during an interview with News.com.au. She continued "I would like our baby to inherit Justin's charm and his sense of humour!"

Jessica hopes son Silas follows a more traditional career path

The Sinner star further explained that while her comment was "sort of a joke," she has remained weary about the industry after watching Justin struggle at times, despite being one of the world's most famous and celebrated singers.

"I watch what Justin goes through and he is at the top of his game. He has access to work with any producer and he can actually get songs on the radio. And, this is from someone who makes great music; he tours and makes it look very easy. But he's been working for years and years and years to get to where he is," said the mother of one.

The mother of one is already worrying over hurdles her son will face later in life

The 35-year-old actress admitted that she is already worried about the challenges and hurdles Silas may face should he follow his parents into show business. "I already have this image of him as a struggling musician and that’s like, 'Oh my God!' As a mom, you think 30 years into the future and you’re like, ‘How do I fix this for him?'"

Jessica says she will support her son regardless of his career choice, but still hopes that he sticks to a more traditional route when it comes to his profession. "I just want him to be like an engineer or a doctor, something like that."
