Taylor Swift's ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris has enlisted Katy Perry to help him on his upcoming album, which will also feature collaborations with Nicki Minaj and Snoop Dogg. The Scottish DJ took to his social media pages on Tuesday to confirm that his new record, titled Funk Wav Bounces Vol 1, will be released on 30 June and will have several stars lend their vocals to it.

Calvin's partnership with Katy may come as a surprise to Taylor, following their break-up last summer. The 33-year-old dated the We Are Never Getting Back Together star for over a year before they called it quits over Taylor's admission that she helped write his hit This Is What You Came For. Meanwhile, the 27-year-old pop star fell out with Katy back in 2012 after claiming the Hot n Cold singer "stole" three of her backing dancers from her Red tour.

STORY: Calvin Harris opens up about his Taylor Swift regret

Earlier this week, Katy opened up about her new album this week, and was asked about whether or not she'd recorded a track about her ongoing feud with Taylor. "There is no one thing that's calling out any one person," she told Entertainment Weekly. "One thing to note is: You can't mistake kindness for weakness and don't come for me. Anyone. Anyone. Anyone. Anyone. And that's not to any one person, and don't quote me that it is, because it's not. It's not about that." She added: "This record is not about anyone else - this record is about me being seen and heard so that I can see and hear everyone else. It's not even about me!"

STORY: Calvin Harris speaks out after Taylor Swift split

In 2015, after Taylor released the music video for Bad Blood, many were quick to assume the song was aimed at Katy. Taylor revealed to Rolling Stone that the song was about another female artist. "She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour," she told the magazine, without naming her. "She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me."
