It's been two years since Kate Hudson and Nick Jonas sparked dating rumours, and now, Kate's mother Goldie Hawn has seemingly confirmed that the two were previously an item. Appearing on Thursday's Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen with her Snatched co-star Amy Schumer, the 71-year-old dished details on the brief romance, calling the American musician a "really nice guy". When asked by a caller to share her thoughts, she replied: "Oh that's too funny… As long as the kids are having fun, I don't care. He's a very nice guy. A good person."

Goldie, who recently received a Hollywood Walk of Fame star with husband Kurt Russell, went on to add that she would have loved to have cooked Nick dinner if the relationship "lasted long enough". Nick and Kate were rumoured to be dating after they were spotted together on several occasions in 2015. The pair were seen giggling happily on rides at Disney World in Orlando, followed by a cosy brunch in Miami. Kate also turned up when the pop star performed at the House of Blues in Orlando, where he sung his new single Levels.

Goldie's comments come soon after Kate and her new boyfriend Danny Fujikawa made their relationship red carpet official at the Los Angeles premiere of Snatched on Wednesday evening. Rumours of Kate and Danny's romance first started after the pair were pictured kissing out during a lunch date in LA. Since then, the couple have barely been inseparable.
